It is with sad heart that I have to announce the death of our close friend and fellow Pressure DJ/presenter, Gus.
After a long battle with cancer Gus passed away in his sleep at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary last night.
He was a wonderful friend and we had some great times together. He was always up for a laugh and liked nothing better than getting together with his mates for a session.
We dj’ed together on numerous occasions playing everything from UK garage to tribal house. He was also part of the tag team that played on local pirate radio station Jive102FM here in Huddersfield alongside myself and Paul.
Then all three of us started playing for Pressure and it was only when, first work commitments and then illness took over did Gus have to stop, but he came into the chat room whenever he could, even from his hospital bed.
We love and miss you Gus, you will be in our hearts forever.
Our thoughts go out to his family (especially brother Tony) and wife Wendy.

i thank you boys for thinking about my son in this time of loss for me and my family and it is nice to see that you have fond memories of him i am only gratful for the time that we spent together in his last days
Just wanted to thank you all for thinking of Gus it means a lot to me that you thought of him as family.I know he will be smiling down on you all.Iknow he was not back in my life for long but he will remain my bro for a long time. He always spoke to me about the times you all had back in the day it made him smile so much! he was just a big kid!!! thanx again speak soon tony
Ryan Kara and Corey, Gus’s stepchildren and his wife would like to thank all for their support with regards Gus’ illness. His sister Maria , Gary, Charlene, Kayliegh, Kasha, Josh and Jai,also his brother Rob would also like to express their appreciation and thanks.
Gus had some great times with you and had many nights of laughter whilst in the chatroom as did we all. We shall never forget the good times we shared together and can look back at photographs with fondest memories.
We are sure Gus will always be around you dancin in the night!
